Update on Today's Severe Weather

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has placed the entire viewing area under a slight risk of severe thunderstorms. Also, the SPC has issued a tornado watch for much of Middle Tennessee and part of East Tennessee. While radar images don't look impressive now, storms will soon start to fire. I expect a few severe storms across the area, mainly after 6 PM. Look for showers and thunderstorms to continue through the evening and into the night.
