We're Getting Dry-Slotted....

Thunderstorms in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida and very heavy rain in Central Georgia are killing any chances of drought-busting rain for the area. See the circled in red? That's the dry-slot. And who's stuck right in the middle of it? That's right...we are. With any luck, the band of rain west of Knoxville will hold up and move through.

Now, not all of the area is getting screwed over with this storm. Southwest Virginia is doing fairly well. The bad side of that is SW VA floods, it seems like, every time they get over an inch of rain! Let's hope that's not the case this time...
