Weather for the Week: Pop-up Thunderstorms!

When viewing the extended forecast, don't be alarmed to see that little thunderstorm symbol for several days straight. A stalled backdoor cold front, warm conditions, and dew points in the upper 50's and lower 60's will give us the chance for scattered thunderstorms every day this week. Wednesday looks to be the day we see the most coverage in showers in thunderstorms. I don't expect any of these storms to be strong or severe. However, as with all thunderstorms, locally heavy rain is possible...resulting in localized flash flooding.
