Cloudy Now, Rain on the Way

The lull in posting and forecast updates early this week stems from my absence from a computer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Situation: A cold front will move east Thursday into Friday, bringing rain and a few thunderstorms. Much cooler air will follow, dropping high temperatures as low as the upper 30's in the mountains. Snow flurries and snow showers will be possible Saturday.

Model Take: The 18 HR NAM shows rain in the region around 1 PM Thursday. The 36 HR GFS shows it coming in around 7 PM Thursday. The 48 HR NAM suggests the precipitation lasts until 7 PM Friday, with left-over showers and flurries possible.

My take: Showers begin late tomorrow afternoon/early tomorrow evening. Heavier rain moves in at night, and lasts through Friday afternoon. Showers linger into Friday night. A snow shower or two in the mountains is possible Saturday.
