Numerous Showers and Thunderstorms Across the Area

Numerous showers and thunderstorms have developed this afternoon. Warm temperatures and high humidity, along with a cold front draped across areas to the west, have helped in development.

Currently, there are several strong to severe thunderstorms affecting the area. Watch out for plenty of vivid cloud to ground lightning, hail, damaging wind, and torrential rainfall.
