Dangerous Situation At Hand

Thunderstorms have fired from afternoon heat as the cold front has moved south of the region.

Several strong thunderstorms are affecting the area. Heavy rain has resulted in localized flooding. An urban and small stream flood advisory for Washington County, TN until 6:45 PM EDT.

Radar estimates that over 2 inches of rain has fallen in parts of Washington County. Please be careful while traveling, as you may happen upon flooding unwarned. Remember, it takes only 6 inches of swiftly moving water to move vehicles.
