Isolated Showers, Thunderstorms Possible This Afternoon; Cooler Conditions Ahead

An upper low spinning to the north has brought clouds to the area. It could also produce a few isolated showers or thunderstorms. This will move on, leaving mostly cloudy skies tonight. Temperatures will dip well into the 40's for valley locations, and down into the 30's in the mountains. Temperatures Friday will only get into the 50's and 60's! Quite a turn-around from this week's 70's and 80's. Everyone may drop into at least the 30's Friday night into Saturday morning. Thus, scattered frost is a possibility. Protecting tender vegetation, if possible, might be a good idea.
