Severe Thunderstorm Threat: SLIGHT

A system invading the area brings with it showers and thunderstorms. Moisture pouring in from the gulf, plus a sunshine-enhanced instability and plenty of moisture already in place, could lead to some problems. There could be numerous strong thunderstorms, with a few becoming severe. The main threat out of these is damaging wind; However, small hail, vivid lightning, and torrential rain will also need to be monitored.
